Agreement for use, care and repackaging of Flowers For Rent bouquets and decorations

The flower bouquets must be kept from getting wet or stained with food or candle wax.  If your decorating plans include candles near the rental flowers, we require the use of mechanical candles.  Rent them from us or from your local party rental store.

The flowers must not be transported in open vehicles.  If your order will be large, please make special arrangements for transporting them from the delivery location to the event location.  We are able to arrange the delivery to be at the event location if necessary.

Installation of the decorations may be done the day before the event if the event will be indoors and the facility can be secured against theft.

For outdoor events, bouquets must not be set up until the morning of the event.  If rain, wind or other inclement weather seems possible, do not set the bouquets up until just before the event is to begin.  Rain causes colors to run and wires to rust.  Wind creates friction and fraying of the flowers.  Have a back-up plan for poor weather conditions and a team of people to take the decorations down immediately following the event if conditions might damage the bouquets.  Hot sunny weather should not be a problem.

No scenting of any kind (no sprays, scent sticks, drops or anything else) may be used on the Flowers For Rent bouquets.  If scent is desired, you may rent our commercial size aromatherapy diffuser.  Many of our clients rent these flowers because of allergy issues.  Using scents will result in the full purchase price being charged to you for replacement.

Any damages that must be repaired will be done at the rate of $35.00 per hour, and this fee will be retained from your security deposit.  Any items that are missing or severly damaged will result in a replacement fee (up to five times the rental cost) being retained from your security deposit.

Sometimes, pieces of the bouquets will shake loose during shipping.  If you can easily find where they should be, feel free to set the flower or leaf back in its place.  If not, please leave the loose pieces in the shipping bags.  During the clean-up/take-down of your decorations, look on the ground for fallen pieces of greenery and florets.  Those should be placed back in the shipping bags with the bouquets.

Before repackaging the bouquets, make sure they and the packaging are dry.  They will mold during shipping if care is not taken to avoid it.  If this happens, your security deposit will be withheld to cover the damages.  Be cautious about placing the decorations anywhere automatic sprinklers might come on.

All plastic bags, interior and exterior shipping boxes which were used to ship the decorations to you should be re-used for the return shipping.

Failure to repackage the decorations as you received them may result in damages and will be charged against your security deposit.

Find the return label provided for your use.  It will be found attached to the inside flaps of the package.  Securely tape the boxes with durable packaging tape.  At least two pieces of tape should go entirely around the each box. 

Warning:  Packages that are minimally taped will come apart in shipping.  If bouquets are lost or damaged because of inadequate tape, your security deposit will be withheld.

Attach the return label to the outside of the box over the top of the previous shipping label.

I acknowledge and understand the terms of this agreement.  I understand my security deposit may be withheld for misuse of Flowers For Rent products.  Should damages exceed the security deposit, I will pay up to the full replacement cost of the damaged goods which in many cases is five times the rental price.
